Cars and Coffee Raleigh, NC 4/3/10
Now this isn't an "official" Cars and Coffee meet, but it's started to be a pretty big event that quite a few people showed up for.
Enjoy
It was nothing compared to the April Dallas meet, but not bad by any means

Great pics as usual brother, thanks for sharing!
Yellow CGT= Win. Do you have anymore info about that 997TT that was for sale? Tip or Stick?
I'm also convinced NC is the state with the coolest custom plates in all of the US.

For not being official you guys got some awesome cars out there! I have yet to see any classic lambo's at the cars & coffee meets over here.
Ive never seen the GT3rs with the blue wheels and stripes, didnt know they offered that color. Kinda ugly IMO
Ohh and whats up with those green wheels?? Also not a looker for me

Which one? There were 4
I'm a huge Lambo fan, so I was all over them most of the time.
Haha yes there was one there. I didn't take any pictures though. I was too distracted by everything else
No problem Mark! I'm glad you enjoyed them. I knew you would say something about the CGT's
The Turbo was a 08 and was a 6-speed. There was no milage or asking price on the for sale sign unfortunately.
And honestly there are custom plates everywhere here in NC. I love the ones on the M6 and the IS350.
Yea without a doubt. I was really impressed with the turnout. I'm hoping even more cars come next month since it's getting warmer
I believe you can put any symbol on there you want. The only restriction is that the plate cannot be over 8 characters long.
Probably because he plans to burn though them quickly. Cheaper to replace
I was really surprised that both Gallardos were 6-speeds. Pictures don't do that interior justice. It was gorgeous.
A local Porsche Club was meeting there at the same time, hence all of the Porsches. I just about fainted when I saw the 959.
I was really surprised with the turnout and caliber of cars that showed up. It was nice to see some of the old school cars come out, especially the Countachs.
I didn't know they offered the white/blue color combo on the GT3RS either. It reminded me of the Care Bears
The green TE-37s were hawt. I guess pictures don't give them justice. I love them.
Agreed. I'm hoping the weather cooperates nicely for next months meet!

Sweet pics!!
If the organizers of that event were smart they would move it to the 2nd Saturday of the month so they do not compete with the Charlotte C&C. Car nuts love to drive, and if the events were not the same day I'm sure the Raleigh event can pull some Charlotte residences out that way which would make the Raleigh event even bigger and spread the word even further.
There are about 9 or 10 characters we can have on our plates...

Agreed. I'm trying to spread the word so it grows each month
Thank you sir! I agree that it should be moved to the second Saturday of the month, but I doubt that will happen. It would be great if we could combine the Raleigh and Charlotte crews for a mega meet!
Thanks! I'm sure you see most of these cars on the daily down in Boca

LOL. Not sure a mega-meet would happen, but it would be nice. For as many people that would drive to Charlotte to Raleigh to participate if they were on different days, there's probably twice as many who prefer to stay close to home. I'm hoping to be able to attend Charlotte's C&C in May, but maybe I'll head up towards Raleigh for one of the summer meets there. Looks like a nice turnout!

Thanks! A few turned out underexposed, but oh well.
I can dream right?
Let me know if you decide to drive up. I'm debating on which one to attend next month.
No problem! I'm hoping next month's turnout is even better
