Hey guys I don't know if this is the right area, but I have a 1998 Honda Prelude Type SH. I just got the timing belt/ water pump service done and can't figure out why this car won't crank unless that scan tool is plugged in. The wire to the scan tool does get hot, so I don't leave it running more that a couple minutes, but it sounds perfect, minus the shutting off part.

Me and my buddy that put this back together cannot figure out what the problem is, Has anyone ever encounted this? Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Thanks!
