Which car should I try for?

I been looking at couple cars, Insurance kinda matters for me so i got rought quotes from the insurance company.

#1 RX8 - ins is like $3000 per year.
#2 Subaru WRX - ins is like $3000 per year.
#3 Subaru Legacy GT - ins is like $2600.

I love how the RX8 looks and everything but after being in the snow a bit, the awd of the subarus very attractive. What you guys think?

If $400 a year is going to make a difference to you, are you sure you can afford a brand new $30k car ?

Anyway, I'd say one of the subbies, faster and AWD

It because the company pays for the car ($500 cap per month), I just pay for the insurance. I also looked at the Mustang GT. That is just too much ins money for me. $4k a year.

I'd personally go with the WRX. the mods for them are wild. their is one guy i autocross with he runs STX he has a JDM motor in his and it FLYs but other than the exhaust he put on the WRX it looks stock

Sorry I didn't include this in my last post but did you concider a RSX-S. their a compact sporty fun car. 210 hp. They're(to me) compariable to a WRX(not the Sti)
i'll throw some more options at you:
Neon SRT-4(i know it's a Neon but that thing is Quick for a compact)
Mini Cooper S(handling on these little things are awesome)
Saturn Ion Redline( decent price at 21 grand for a supercharged coupe)
VW Gti VR6(their about 25 grand and do alright for being a v-6 hatch)
also what about a 4 popper Accord EX: you can get into one for 20 without Navi.Insurance on a family sedans are pretty cheap(at least mine for my 94 accord i have full it's like 90 a month) but i have a clean record(knock on wood) and don't live in NYC

No shit. Want a sports car, but don't want to pay for sport car insurance.

To each his own, but this is the most awful list of cars I've ever seen (other than the VW, which is decent).

Fusion- No question, get the Subie.

agree with Water-@ the srt-4 is very quick, it is definatley the best bang for its buck around here, i wouldnt mind driving a 05 black one, this guy i know has one look pretty good got some gunmetal rims and it has stock red calipers, and it is fast, in looks ok imho, even tho its a neon

It actually may not be too bad...its not expensive and parts for it are cheap (since its a Dodge), so replacement expenses are lowered and premiums go down accordingly.

The plus side about the RX8 is that you can get them heavily discounted. But if you live in the city itself, go with the LGT. (Sidebar: I wouldnt even have a car if I lived in the City...exc. maybe in the case of Staten Island.)

Either way you go, door ding time!!!!

I would go for the RX. Different car, fun to drive and much "cooler" than the other 2. if I were using my own money i would go Legacy but free car.

The deal is with me is that basically instead of a higher raise at my job, I get a "mileage expense". Basically $500 bucks a month. So it opens up a great deal of cars. I not looking to go broke type of car. I am surprised so many gave the rx8 such a big thumbs down. It looks nice and handles nicely. I might lease in my case so mods would be out of the question. (I only drive like 6k a year since i commute by subway). The car would be in an indoor garage but it shared valet type. Lease payment maybe i get one in the 300-400 dollar range per month and the rest goes to insurance. Throw in my bit of my own money and it should work out. I thought about the TSX, i want something more sportier or lux. RSX is too small. I want a somewhat 4 door. Well tom I going to go to the Subaru dealership and see how it is.

For me it quoted at 1776.60 X 2. So a year it is 3500 a year. An accord i did to check it quoted to something like 2600 per year. Damn insurance companies.
