I did that once a few month ago.

I traded in my s2k for an 06 A4 6mt .... it was sat night. i signed the paper and everything. after a few hours of ownership, i really wanted my s2k back.

the a4 was no near as good as s2k in terms of performance and satisfication.

the next morning (Sunday) i brought the A4 back.. i was hoping that they could give my s2k back,, if not, o wells. at least it doesnt hurt to try.

i talked to the manager and made up a whole bunch of BS story like i cant afford it and blah blah. (Obviously it wasnt true since i had 2 infiniti loans on my credit report and he knew it too) but he let me have my s2k back and i didnt have to pay for anything for the 1 night of ownership (i put 90 miles on it)

it was mainly because the bank and dmv were closed on sat night, so the whole transaction never went through.

I was lucky.
