Which car is quieter on freeways and overall

2006 Accord V6 manual or 2010 Mazda3 2.0 auto.

My life has changed and I drive SO much I need a automatic and a quieter car yet have some fun. I consider the Eleantra but not enough excitment and VW Golf means I have to deal with a German car woes ( yeah, it might be all in my head with VW but my guts says dont do it).

What do you think?

Another thread about a possible different car, huh? No love for the 6mt???

I can tell you the difference between my '03 6mt and my boss' 05 Mazda 3 are night and day. Much more road noise in his car than my Accord. The Accord is very good in that catagory.

i think it'll be much better if you go to dealerships and test drive both.

im 99% sure nobody in this forum have ridden in those two different cars.

My guess is the Mazda might be a little more fun though.

Just depends on what proportion of quiet to noise you want. Then again, the accord may be fun...??

My guess is the Mazda would be more fun, but more noisy on the highway than the Accord....the Accord is a bit more "higher end" than the Mazda 3.

I'd keep the Accord.

Remember that tires vary when it comes to road noise.
