From the sideview, the rear taillights are pure 5-series.

Has a nicer grille than an '09 TL so I guess it has that going for it.

I bet if it were either 3 the responses would be different.

Old...

It's ok for a buick, but it's still a buick... I wouldn't be caught dead in one (since there are nicer cars in the same price range).

basically. For a Buick it's a step forward though.

so if i pick "it's hot" then it means i think that the car looks good, but if i pick "you're old" then that means that the car is ugly?
that doesn't sound right to me, or am i missing something?
anyways i think it's nice looking for a buick, but it just seems really large, if the front and rear ends were smaller vertically and lower it would look 100x better

It doesn't do anything for me...

We know GM can do better than this. Exhibit a: 2G CTS-V. Exhibit b: G8.

If you ask me, it looks too stocky like a Scion TC. There is no trunk, and the front looks like a Honda Civic. If they extended the front(hood area) and rear(trunk area), it would look more aggressive and appeal to younger people.

Who cares about power and ride anymore =\. People are buying Hyundai Tiburons cause they're 'sporty-looking' coupes. Genesis... I've never experienced driving one, but the v6 is probably slow as a Taurus. Some cars out there were more focused on getting consumers who wanted nice looking cars, but Buick can't make anything nice looking or sporty enough for real fanatics. They're stuck as old people's cars.

It's not so bad. It looks like Buick spent a lot of time studying the hot, new Lincoln MKZ!
Both cars are nice work btw. It's definitely a step forward in American auto designs.

Not.....

Is it a Malibu with a Buick front clip? Meaning more "badge engineering" from a should be in Chapter 11 GM. Not for me, thanks...

I can't believe what I'm reading. The only thing "old" about that car's looks is it's wearing the Buick badge, which carries that stigma. But there's nothing old about the actual looks.

It looks like an evolution of the Toyota Avalon... which used floaty Buicks as the design template.

In other words, you're downright elderly.

I wouldn't say it's hot. I think it's a nice looking car though a bit on the bubbly side. The interior is kinda putting me off a bit. But yeah, the Buick badge is what's turning the younger crowd off.

And what's with the port holes?

I think its hot, inside and out. The Invicta concept is still the best though. I don't care what badge a car wears, or what stigma is associated with it..... what matters is the car itself.

Much better than the other recent Buick designs

It looks like a mix between a camry and a M35..

Hyundai is better at gene mixing.
