I've always been a fan of the front engined Ferraris, but admit the BB is also one of my all time favourites. It looks particularly striking when painted a two-tone colour combination.

Is it just me, or would that gear lever require a clever reach to operate correctly?

Love the 365GT4 BB and 512BB, the 365GT4 was lighter.
Pininfarina styling, interior is a bit dated but the gated shifter looks cool.

I don't believe you can. The BB's transmission is underneath the engine. This is what gave the car a 60/40 weight distribution, and subsequently twitchy handling at times.

Terry

I'm impressed you knew that, not common knowledge then again with your restoration experience maybe I should not be surprised.

The Lambo Countach had the gearbox in front of the engine, with the differential at the rear. Driveshaft runs through the oil sump like the 2G Legend.
