In all honesty, I would suggest something like a 2008 TL-S, G37 or a Lexus IS. Remember you will probably be on the job hunt in a little bit and rolling up in an Audi S5 or a brand new 5 series isn't going to help you get a job. As well there's a HUGE issue of what other folks will say.
I have never interviewed anywhere in my career where the folks interviewing me knew what kind of car I drove. I'm not saying that I know for sure that they didn't find out from someone but I normally parked in a garage and went into the building and then waited for them.
One of my managers flew his own plane up from Tampa to interview (he made his money from getting in early at Priceline, the bastard) and they still hired him even though they knew he had enough money to pay for a $225k plane.
That's my anecdotal evidence for the day ... Why would it matter what he drove? Short of working for a non-profit that values austerity
