I'd deal with the SI's interior for the overall appearance, bang for buck, the fact that it's a honda, and it's fun to drive.... As for the Accord LX I really don't see too many teens rockin an Accord it's usually the Civic EX/LX/SI, but then again I can't fit into a Civic as comfortably as I wanted so I would be rockin the Accord, but anywho since he doesn't like the SI heres my opinion:

If you don't mind the insurance:
Mazdaspeed 6

If you do mind the insurance:
Accord LX

If you like being called gay by the me and kids @ my school:
Mazdaspeed 3

jmho yo.

hmm, interesting evaluation. well the mazdaspeed6 is too expensive. haha hows the mazdaspeed3 so gay? but its the Mazda3 S Grand Touring thats he's interested in with navi. my personal opinion, i think its nice. only thing that bothers Me personally is that it doesnt have auto seat adjustments

OHHH! That's the Sedan? Well that changes everything, see we like to relate the wagons to gay ppl for sum reason (we're odd, i know, but c'mon the xA... how many straight people drive that car?) As for the Sedan MZS34dr, ALLOT of kids have that car @ school, I thoought we were talkin about the hatch here, sorry!! If it were for me i'd get the 6 cause it's bigger, but again I'm sure the kid isn't 6'2",

+1 for the MZDS3SGTS4dr. Accord LX is just too boring compared to that car.

well heres an update just for the record. i went to check out the Mazda3 and the 6 today. and i also checked out the accord coupe and Tc. like i said, we were both Very unhappy with the Tc's Quality(the leather sucked big time too!). hmm our opinions about the mazda 3 and 6 still remains the same..still can't decide. the accord is just toggling in our choices, we just couldnt find anything So phenominal about it to grab out attentions. hmmm so~so far its the

07 Mazda3 S Grand Touring 5MT BLK/BLK
07 Mazda6 I Touring or the Grand Touring 5MT BLK/BLK
07 Honda Accord Coupe EX 5MT BLK/BLK (decided to go with the Ex model instead of the Lx model as he wanted/needed 6cd in-dash changer and moonroof)

yup the TC is out of our list. he too wants to have a navi system like me but if he goes with the accord the price will be too high. but we're still keepin the accord as a strong nominee because first of all, its a honda and its a bigger engine.

MZS34dr? hmm are you refering to a mazdaspeed3 4door? cuss there is no such thing. mann, if there was~ II would be all over it! haha. hes 5'8~yea, around there. we rarely see any mazda 3's in our area as the closest dealer is kinda farr away.

Is an EX-L too far out of the price range? If not then -1 for mzsgt and +1 for 07Acc2dr, If I can't get a CL that's what I'm gettin (05' V6 6mt EX-L 2dr/4dr).

Their reliability is pretty much average, nothing special. And Ford has partial ownership of them as well. Even with that said, I really like the higher-end models of the 3 and 6 a lot, when it comes to handling performance, styling, features, ect. However, it's a shame the speed3 is only offered as a hatch.

I'd go with the accord though only cos' the cost of ownership is pretty high on those mazdas.

Have you considered the Nissan Altima 2.5S ?

however engineering is pathetic imo. 2.7L V6 to attain 172hp and 180tq. *tsk tsk* and their sonata is a huge 3.3 V6 but its only 234hp and 222tq. the accord is 3.0 and gets 244 and 211.

tiburons run mid-15's which, while not amazing, is still decently quick and they're engines are known to be pretty restrictive from the factory. with some minor mods, they can run low 15's, high 14's. for a 17 year old, i think that's plenty of power.

man, not to hate, but all i know is when i was 17, i wouldn't have been picky at all. i would be so happy if i got a new car. tc or mazda3 or 6 or accord or tiburon or civic, etc. they're all good cars, and i would have been happy with any of them.

your brother's a lucky dude.

^ Go to forums related to those models for things like that. You will have thousands of personal reviews and experiences to read up on.

hmm, so far it seems like mazda3 is everyone favorite followed by accord and then mazda6. but besides having the best value, what other reasons do you guys have for your choices?
