I've been pretty happy using Axxis Ultimates.

If you want to keep brake dust to a minimum try a ceramic pad. FWIW in my experience Hawk HPS pads leave lots of dust.

I've been happy with my Hawk HPS pads all around from heeltoe's groupbuy... Dust is about the same as OEM as far as I can tell...

You sure you weren't using Axxis Deluxe or Axxis Metalmaster? Ultimates are very similar to EBC Greenstuff pads.

Just go to an auto parts store and buy that anti-squeak stuff you apply to the back of the pads. I don't think it matters what brand you use.

No i had the ultimates and they were the worst pad i ever had. You cant even compare them to the green stuff. the green stuff would produce the same amount of dust i 2 months driving that the ultimates would produce in under a week of driving. Plus the ultimats couldnt handle the heat like the green stuff pads.

This topic has been covered a number of times:

pHPS - High Performance Street

HPS - High Performance Street disc brake pads are world renowned for increasing stopping power on your street legal vehicle. Increasing the performance of your vehicles braking system is easy when you choose Hawk Performance’s HPS braking compound. This unique Ferro-Carbon formula was developed for street performance using the safety and quality of Aerospace and Motorsports severe-duty friction technology.

The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can provide you 20-40% more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you’ll have a highly durable brake pad with less brake dust..

HPS Ferro-Compound Features:

* Increased stopping power
* High friction/torque hot or cold
* Gentle on rotors
* Extended pad life
* Low dust
* Virtually noise-free

Axxis Utimate

The Axxis Ultimate brake pads feature a special Kevlar® and ceramic-strengthened formula with a high co-efficient of friction and excellent high temperature wear and fade resistance. Designed for ultra-high performance driving and hard-braking applications, Axxis Ultimate pad users will benefit with extreme stopping power and high resistance to brake fade at high temperatures, meaning the decrease in friction over repeated heavy duty stops, as the temperature increases, is minimal. Axxis Ultimate pads boast a maximum continuous working temperature of 550° C (1022° F degrees). Consistent throughout its operating temperature range, you’ll get dependable, predictable stops time after time while maintaining a solid pedal feel.

FYI, Jatt --

Rotora BBK does not come with Axxis Ultimate pads. They use their own. That's what they told me when I contacted them about replacement pads.

I haven't been able to locate other brand pads that fit their caliper design for the 2G/3G TL. You can either use Rotora's street pads (the ones that came with your BBK) or upgrade to the harder compound race pads. Otherwise, your choices are limited to contacting a brake pad company, send in the outline of your Rotora pads and have them custom make pads for you.

That's what people told me, too.

But a representative at Rotora confirmed that it's not true.

I remember ALLOUT (Jeff) telling me to get Axxis Ultimate pads since he had for his CL and he was the one who installed the BBK.
