Bmw Z4

The only reviews that I am finding are written by folks who don't "push" their cars all that much. What do y'all think?

I totally love the car. I took it our during a breast cancer drive at the local BMW dealer.

I pushed that thing pretty hard and it was totally a go kart! Such a blast and totally underrated. IMO

The 3.0 is still such a great engine.

I would love to get one of those, but don't want to spend that much.

I am looking at getting a new 'vert, and am looking at the S2k as well. What do y'all think?

I love the S2k for it's pure driving, but I love the BMW for the added "luxories".

There is a 3.0 which has the old motor. The 3.0si is the new N52.

Last time I checked they are both the new 3.0 engines. The 215hp version is the same 3.0L found in the new 325i.

I wasnt talking about the new Z4 since i havent driven those.

I drove the Z4 with the 3.0 M54 version. I meant to say thats STILL is a great engine since they changed to the N52.

He's already had 1 S2K. Mine is a couple years older than the ol' red one that he had.

Take me with you. Seeing as I can't really drive (or shouldn't be that is), I need to see something fun.

your right the 325i engine is the same as a "regular" z4. now the z4 m engine is the same as 2006 M3 engine. the 3 horsepower was lost because i read something about the exhuast had to be redesigned.
i saw the engine bay of the Z4 M in person it JUST BEARLY fits in there. i haven't got to drive it.
now as as far as looks. IMHO: I think the Z4 is better looking than the s2k. sorry i know this is a Acura/Honda board but i'm giving my thoughts.

now as far as dependability: it's gonna be hard to beat the Honda. but if it's just a weekend "play car" it isn't one of your top concerns.

Ha, sorry, I already gave the S2k to my mom-she loves it. It's a 2005 NFR.

My test drive got pushed back to Wednesday, so I will let y'all know then.
