bmw m3 tranny problems?

I heard that the 00-present m3s have tranny problems? Is this true? Imagine having a 50K car and having tranny problems. It already pisses me off having a 30K car with tranny problems.

Haven't heard tranny problems with the E46 M3. Just blown engines on some '01 M3's.

dont know about tranny problems...
my dad has an 04 M3 6 spd manual only about 5k miles on it... so i probably wouldnt know yet

Not that I've heard of.......just the moneyshifters (5th to 2nd not 4th etc..)
