Bmw m2 2024/2024
just read Motortrend Magazine Performance Vehicle of the Year, Fall 2024 Issue.
Looking for any comments from current and previous owners of the M2, and, of course, this newest vehicle. The review mentioned a hp increase to 473 from the 2024 t0 2025 model.

The problem with the world is the intelligent people are full of doubts while the stupid ones are full of confidence.
-Some drink from the well of knowledge, Liberals and Dumbocratz rinse and spit.
-SOMEONE HAD A CHANCE TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN AND WON.

There are probably more bmw fanboys here than on bmw forums, lol.
I don’t have an M2, but my neighbor had an OG m2 and a friend of mine has a current Gen, any specific questions I can ask them? They both really like them.
My friend autocrosses his, he does very well with it. Lots of power and grip, no issues so far.

Just wondering if any idiosyncrasies it may have to be aware of. In the interim, I put a lot of faith in Car & Driver/Road & Track mags and will research their reviews, current and future. Seems like a fine car for track and travel.

Every car ever created has "idiosyncrasies." Why don't you try a BMW forum? There is probably less than 2 people on this blog that have M2 experience, is this you shouting for attention that you think you know how to post in a car forum when you 1) don't know about M2's which the world around you does and 2). real world, real owner answers would be elsewhere like say, a BMW blog?
Aight, so chatted with my 2 buddies with M2s.
the OG M2 said he liked the car a lot, no issues, it was lowered on eibachs. His was manual. He said in the long run he did wish it had more power, but otherwise he really liked it. This guy is very much a car enthusiast but he doesn’t race them. He just did 1 Autocross with me.
the current Gen m2 guy, also very happy. His chief complaint is that because of its weight, it goes through brakes and tires… he also mentioned to be aware that everything you do on that car is through the touch screen. This guy autocrossed a lot, he also has track experience just not as much in this M2. We are planning on going to sebring together in 2025 sometime.
regardless, both are envious of my 08 TL-s and they keep offering to trade with me, but I know what I got…

Why Men Shouldn't Write Advice Columns
Dear John,
I hope you can help me. The other day,
I set off for work, leaving my husband in
the house watching TV. My car stalled,
and then it broke down about a mile
down the road, and I had to walk back
to get my husband's help. When I got home,
I couldn't believe my eyes. He was in our
bedroom with the neighbor's daughter!
I am 32, my husband is 34 and the
neighbor's daughter is 19. We have been
married for ten years. When I confronted
him, he broke down and admitted they
had been having an affair for the past
six months. He won't go to counseling,
and I'm afraid I am a wreck and need advice.
Can you please help?
Sincerely, Robyn
Dear Robyn,
A car stalling after being driven
a short distance can be caused by
a variety of faults with the engine.
Start by checking that there is no
debris in the fuel line. If it is clear,
check the vacuum pipes and hoses
on the intake manifold and also check
all grounding wires. If none of these
approaches solve the problem it
could be that the fuel pump itself is
faulty, causing low delivery pressure
to the injectors.
I hope this helps,
John
