I agree with Brandons opinion as well and this is coming from someone who has had all 3 engines.

Speaking strictly aesthetics, the M3 is a clear winner for me.

You don't know what i own either right?

What makes your opinion better than mine? You do realize that I am KK from bimmerfest and other BMW forums.

As owner of E82 135i, E92 M3, and E60 M5. I think i do know what I am talking about too.

I have driven 128i several times thanks to the HPFP recall, seat belt recall, and the tail light recall courtesy of BMW mountain view.

I just think 128i simply lack the fat torque and is just adequate for its weight.

As far as E92 M3 V8 goes, same thing with E60 M5. There is no torque available at less than 3000 RPM (unless you call 230 to 240 to the rear wheel is adequate). The peak torque arrives at high 3900 RPM. Where are you going to rev that V8? You do know that in 3rd gear you are already north of 80 mph. Given that CHP are being crazy for money now, you can't have fun. N54 torque peak of 250 to the rear wheel appears at mere 1500 RPM. I fail to see where my point is wrong.

Who is the asshole now?

Forgot to mention.

My daily driver 135i is a 2009, M-sports 6 MT.

N54 is a great engine and easy to tune. It's much suited for daily use and far more efficient than the V8 on the M3.

At 19k miles, the 135i has averaged a cool 21.3mpg. The M3 has averaged 15.3 mpg. The M5 has averaged 11.3 mpg.

Disastrous by going to turbo? Better efficiency, better useable power for daily use. You think that is bad?

Or Brandon sir, you think you are Michael Schumacher running F1 on daily basis?

Don't call me sir, mister.

Sounds like you need to sell that M3 now...you hate it!

Everyone else: Okay, i'll stop now. Promise.

Oh great. More cannon fodder for the 1M fanboys hell bent on proving "their" car is somehow better than an M3.

What ever.

I got the say that video was exactly spot on.

You should get rid of the 135i- obviously you don't get how much fun 135i/1m is to toss around.

300LB is significant saving. But the short wheel base just makes 1 so much fun to drive.

I am still amazed that for someone that has not lived with current E9x M3 can say so much.

Different car for different folks.

Right, because I've never pushed my car hard to know how it responds, or driven an E92 M3 for comparison

You're almost more insufferable than I am, and that's really saying something.
