Get the 135i coupe

 

This thread could've been closed after the first two responses as they say everything that needs to be said.

 

135 because its TT and fast and more sporty and fast and looks better and fast, and can be made much more faster. I wish I had one or that I could afford one.

 

I honestly think the whole 1-series lineup are chic cars. $.02.

But, between the two choices, I voted 135i because of the bigger motor. That, and I'm not a fan of convertibles.

 

I like both, I just think for the price of a 135i I would get into a 3 series. I have not driven a 128 but have sinking suspicion it is still a blast to drive, it's not a slow car and it still the lightest BMW coupe. The 128 is a great economical choice, good fuel economy, better then average acceleration, etc...

 

135, i already have a chicks car, i don't need another

 

Except he's asking about the 128 convertible. It's heavier, slower, and almost as much as the 135 coupe.

Pretty overwhelming, I thought there would be more vert lovers.

 

Something about a man driving a 1 series Vert, whether it be a 28 or 35 just doesn't seem right IMO.

I saw a woman driving a 370Z yesterday so I guess I can't buy that one now.

Get what you want. If you want a 128i convertible, then get it.

I'd much rather have the 135i. I have a very strong suspicion that if a 135i and my S4 were at a dragstrip, the 135i would kick my ass very badly. Even if it was driven by a woman.

 

Whoa buddy, thats a pretty tall order there. Ive seen the way some women drive. I mean, we're talkin straight lines here. Thats demanding work.

 

Well I for one love convertibles, but not a big fan of the 1-series drop top. As was mentioned it, seems fairly feminine. Can't say I've ever seen a guy behind the wheel of one yet.

I just hate two-seaters. You can't even lay down in the car.

 

very simple...135 weighs less and more power. The 128 weighs more (because ALL convertibles weighs more than their hard top counter parts) and less power. Plus IMO it's kinda :ghey:
