Best Windsheild Sunshade

I need to get one ASAP! My car bakes outside all day at school, and it's literally 150 degrees inside the car...This is definitely one of the hottest summers in Florida!

Should I just pick up any old one at the local car stores? Or is there a good one to order online? Thanks

Also is there any other ways to keep the inside of the car cooler? I can't really crack the windows, since it randomly rains at any time here.

I'm considering it, but I know it's illegal, and the cops here are pretty strict. Just last week my friend got pulled over in mid-day for his tint, and was given a ticket.

Hmm...it might be worth it, since it would be hard for them to really tell...other then if they are infront of me. Is your front window tinted? How is the visibility at night in the rain? Also what's a good % to get?

I notice there is the typical ones that are silver shiny reflective on the outside, then I see others that see just a solid material...

visibility wasn't too bad, i had 35% on the windshield and 15% all around....obviously it was darker at night, but other car's headlights help out alot...safer option would be to get a shade, ha

+1 for cover craft. I had 1. Although I saw zero difference in the heat inside the car after it's been sitting in my parking lot for 8+ hours. I sold it.
I have 15% tint & the car still got so hot. Every car I had had 15% they all get hot. I actually think an untinted car doesn't get as hot. My friends cars that sit out all day untinted are no where near as hot as my car.

Visibility with a tinted windshield is only good on a bright, sunny day. At night you can't see anything. I have that 15% tint that blocks like 80% of UV rays. It's great. I just use a standard sunshield fron Auto Zone. Been doing this since I've been in FL, and never had any problems.

Most places you can find a tree, or a garage. Even if it's more of a walk, it will save your car from the sun. Also, keep it waxed, so the paint doesn't get all nasty.

I notice at least a 10 degree difference, maybe even 15. I do have 5% tint though.

My car gets way hot. Maybe it's the black interior? I have the 80% UV blockage as well.

But yeah my car didn't feel any cooler with the sun shade. Maybe it did decrease temps a little but I didn't feel it. Maybe if the car is parked in some shade & not direct sunlight it would be more effective. There's not a spec of shade in my parking lot.
