THANKS GUYS!!
It's amazing the difference to me as well. The new badges are keeping most wondering what kind of car it is. I've had 3 Infiniti inquiries and one Lexus so far...lol

I have pushed it a few times and she responds well. The rolling acceleration is good but from a standstill the tires want to break loose too much. That's the down side of FWD.
My real fuel economy is 20-22 mpg around town with a high of 24.2. Hwy mpg is 33-35 with a high of 35.8. The high was a trip from NJ to Ontario with the cruise set at 70 and the air conditioning on.

I used super on one trip to see if here was anything noticeable, but there was not. As a rule I use regular unleaded.

Good choice. I seriously considered that car when I bought my Lexus and my wifes Acura. Won't go into the reasons here why I didn't get one, but I still look on their forum regularly. I think it's a hell of a car - congrats. I look forward to your thoughts on it when you've put a few thousand miles on it.

OIC. Carry on then! I'm trying to maintain some semblance of kid-like fun even at 43, though.

Genesis FTW! The V6 will save you some gas at least.

Did you get rid of the TL to buy it?

the six has 333 hp and coupled with the 8 speed tranny, it feels like the 2011 8 cyl with the 5spd auto. Going to the 8 cyl in the 2012 added about 50 hp; not enough to make me change. It's also pushing that hp with regular unleaded.

I did trade the TL and while it's early, I appreciate the ride in the Genny big time. Kind of like I appreciated the better ride in the SRT8 over the camaro. There is plenty of power with the six, and not enough with the 8 to make a big enough difference.
