It's amazing how one troll can trash a thread so fast.

What ever man we can still continue this.

So people have suggested 535i and c63. I don't know if he'd like the 535i, and I think fully loaded those are more than 80k. Not sure but if the 335is is 78k, then 535 is well over. And c63 might not be in the price range either. And it's also auto and he wants a manual car.

yea but the budget is 80K.

I think I swayed his mind towards the S4 a little. I showed him a kijiji link and someone is selling a 2011 6 speed fully loaded white s4 with 2 tone black/white leather/alcatera (spl?) seats with 5000km (3100miles), and it's $18000 cheaper than getting a brand new s5 and waiting 4 months on it. He's calling the guy today to set up the viewing so lets hope he goes for that one.

That sounds like a good deal if the car is in near-new condition.

Double check which option that car comes with.

Is it Prestige or just basic Premium Plus?
Never seen black/white with alcantara.
I always liked black with alcantara more than upgraded full leather.

That does sound like a good deal, but did he give an indication as to why he is selling?

Aftermarket and Upgrades: Stasis Cat-back Exhaust ($2500), H&R Rear Sway Bar ($500), Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System ($1100), Carbon Atlas Interior Trim ($500), Rear Windows/Sunroof Tinted ($400), Navigation, Winter Floor Mats, and like new 19" Blizzak Low Profile Winter Tires ($1500). Currently on 19" Dunlop Sport Maxx GT Summer Tires.

I think most of these come as options for this car.

Love the black/white interior.

Any differences between the 2010 and 2011 models?

There's not much difference unless you count the items included in the Prestige package. The only thing comes to mind is the rear parking sensors are now included in 2011 Prestige. These weren't part of the package in 2010 like mine. Oh...and for those with the S-tronic transmission, some owners claim that the 2011 comes with launch control. I don't know since I only go for manual.

First one is Prestige, which comes with everything.

Second is stripped down S4, just premium plus with no navi.

Yeah, that's $1600!

Damn, some used S4 with super low miles would be a great choice in couple years..

yea I see now what you are saying. He is looking at that first one today after work. The guy lowered the price to 58k, 15k lower than getting a brand new one from the dealership and 20k cheaper than s5. I'll keep you guys updated. I hope it all works out for him. And I really wanna drive that S4

S4 is a much fun car than S5 for sure.

S5 is pretty damn slow for a V8 car. IMO.

edit: I would definitely recommend sport rear diff, if he can find a car with that option.

honestly B&O isn't even that great.
CF trim does add that "sproty" looks to it.

that's what my buddy said too. He said he didn't feel it pulling as he was hoping to. Then I told him about the s4 and V6 engine in there and the chip, exhaust... and he got pumped about that haha

S4 with SC is the way to go.

Why you think Audi went from V8 to V6 SC on S5 convertible.
much better fuel efficient and more power to the car.

The first one he posted appears to have the ADS controls. That means it either have the full ADS (includes sport rear diff) or just the sport rear diff.

You are right.
After looking at the interior pic, it appears to have ADS package.

Man, that IS full loaded.

ADS = Audi Drive Select

The full ADS includes adjustable damping, adjustable steering ratio, sport rear differential, and the ADS controls. The controls allow the driver to choose between Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, or Individual on throttle, steering, suspension, and differential.

If the car only has the sport rear diff option, it doesn't have the adjustable damping and the steering ratio. It will still have the ADS controls (most refer this as ADS-lite), but only on throttle, steering (not ratio, just the assist), and differential.

^^ This.

It is nice to have the feature but it's not a must have feature.
As long as if you can get the sport rear diff would enough for the car.
