Audi S5 is now on AudiUsa.com

The configuration that is.

Mine came out to $52,100.00 the way i would want it. $5k more than my 335.

That would have been a tough choice.

aftermarket support would be tougher than with your Bimmer, although I don't think you'd need much the way the S5 looks/performs (on paper) from the factory...

Also, I like the your BMW's interior better than the S5's... but that Tuscan Brown leather makes it tough to resist...

I havent really followed the specs on this car relatively to the 335. But if the numbers are significantly better then the 335, it definitely would be touch choice as 5k isn't much of a difference from 45k. Now to do some reading.. or waiting for Jesal's next post. haha

I like it, I'm thinking that definitely would've been a tough choice. I'm sure both cars have their pros and cons, but personally, I like the Audi's design a little better than the BMW. I'd have to see them both in person, but the new Audis are sexy.

"Well, I did it... traded in the 335 for an S5"

Numbers as in performance? Its not any better than the 335i from what i read.

Heres a video http://youtube.com/watch?v=aHj0zbhjLZI

Its slightly more than a $5k difference since I have navi and the S5 i optioned out didnt have it. But the S5 should be compared to the 335xi anyways which closes the gap even more in pricing.

Nope.

Im going with AA Xede instead. I have local support for Xede, its cheaper, more reliable and better customer service.

Plus my local tuner gave me a sick price for it.

I must say I feel the S5 looks (especially the rear portion) have definitely taken a step in the right direction. I also quite enjoy the sound of the v8 in this car.

That being said after watching the video and doing some research of my own I have come to the conclusion the BMW comes out on top. In my eyes it looks better and I've always had a bit of a weakness for forced induction especially on bimmers

What kind of gains are you planning to see from this Jesal? Plans after this? I'm interested to see where you're going with this car as I'm very interested in owning one when the opportunity arises

Heres the dyno http://www.activeautowerke.com/turbo.../Dyno-STDL.jpg

No plans after this since i want to keep this engine somewhat reliable. Even doing this makes me nervous but many people have had them for awhile now without issues.

It wouldn't be right now of course. I meant in the future.

On a side note, weren't you the one to say you never went over 3k rpm?

Give us a mini-review after the install and some vids if possible.

On another note, that S5 really looks good.

A lot depends on how big the stick shift is to you.
Personally if i was to drop that kind of change i'd go with the C63 Benz.
I like the body style of the Benz best of all German smaller sedans.(Audi,BMW and Benz)
yes i know it doesn't have the stick but it has the most hp and IMHO best looking small rocket sedan on the market.

Love that S5 and optioned out w/ what I would order it came to 54+k. That's a lot of cake but it's a nice car. I'd order the no cost option Alcantara leather, looks nice.
