Audi Q5

so anyone got any experience with them? especially in foul weather. I'm looking for an SUV something below $50K. I was considering the X5, but it goes over $50K after I configure and the reliability is so so after reading from forums and reviews. The MB ML is also an option I consider since my parents has one and im impress with it, although the 1st Gen had problems I've heard good news regarding the 2nd Gen. But pricing is also up there for these 2. Not really a fan of the RDX' and MDX' new beak styling, although price wise in its class is unbeatable. Im also looking for something a tad bigger. So does anyone got any experience with Audi's Q5? Reliability and size wise?

No experience with the Q5 - but I've heard good things and I find them quite attractive.

Any interest in an Infiniti FX?

it's pretty much a brand new car/model so how accurate will an owner's reliability assessment be?

Not really a fan of its "JAWS" design on the front and the pricing seems a tad high for it.

How is the reliability of Audi's in general?

The Q5 is too new to gauge its reliability though.

+2. We're enjoying our 09 MDX but we sort of wished we'd xshopped the X5 (and XC60)....though, we probably would have gone with the MDX anyway.

^ yes, with some basic options.

I love the look of Q5, but I'd just get a MDX!

The FX is a great choice, you might want to consider the new ZDX. Also since you're selecting a Q5 maybe consider an X3 as well.

I haven't heard any major issue at all.

They already came out with 2010, so in second year.

since 2006, they have been great.

Basic Q7 starts around $47,725.

I would rather get Q5 Premium Plus w/ Navi ($45k).

$800 plus on lease...

There is zero discount on Q5, due to shortage and no program what so ever on that car.

I'd take an FX50 if they were under $50k. FX35 seems like a good car too, not a huge fan of th styling though.

If you were open to CPO cars you'd get loads more options.

I love the Q5.
FX is alright, but everyone and their mothers has them. Literally.

If I had to pick an Acura SUV, the only one I'd really go for is the MDX.

Q5 is by far one of my favorites. ive driven it, and its an absolute dream. BUT, there are no programs for it, and leasing PMTs are astronomical. you have to be pretty financially careless to not see more value in comparable cars.

youd really have to LOVE the thing to justify a 800+ lease PMT on a non-full size SUV.

unless you are paying for the thing in hard cash, then we'll talk.

Q5 is a great car. Super hot these days, too. Good deal to buy, but a bit pricey to lease.

OP, PM me if you need help with this. I'm in the car business and am also on LI, I might be able to help you out on this..

It's not THAT MUCH to lease (unless you do high miles, everything in the payments and it's a Prestige model), but they are a bit pricey these days. Mostly because of supply (not much) and demand (a lot of it)

You're probably selling them for MSRP, i'm not.

A 36 month/10k mile per year lease on a $41,075 Premium Q5, I just ran the numbers and it's coming out in the mid 5's + tax.
