He beat the record by 38 seconds, am I reading correctly? I wish they had a little more camera views from inside the car though, from the driver's perspective

amazing sound, love an uncorked flat 6!

For some reason they look small, IDK if it's optical illusion or what. The OEM Fuchs are supposed to be more durable than the knockoffs but for 4K or whatever they cost they seem way overpriced. Would go with meshed HREs if I was dropping that kind of cheese.

I'm a coupe guy myself but I test drove a 2011 guards red carrera S cabriolet with the sports chrono plus package and PDK and was blown away. As you know from the Boxter, there's nothing quite like the open air experience, especially out here where one can drive open top year round. Furthermore, being able to hear the PSE wail with the top down was like night and day compared to windows down in the coupe.

I've just never been a fan of how the cabriolet looks with the top up. The coupe definitely flows better IMO and since it's my DD, I feel more secure parking the coupe than I would the cab in public places.

Yeah, the open air is suite! I don't like the way the cab looks with the top down also, it just looks like an abnormal hump. I could always get a hard top.........for a newer boxster.......

I really don't want to drive a p-car year round but a coupe would really allow me to drive it more. Except for those all summer tires. It hits 40 degrees on a regular basis at teh end of december until march/april so summer tires wouldn't work.

Tropical weather would be nice.
I miss the sound of that car when winding it out to 6-7k.

Yep you would have to run winter tires like Blizzaks on maybe 18s instead of 19s but you're a competent enough driver you could enjoy the C2 instead of having the extra weight from the C4. I can't figure out why people think a C4 is absolutely necessary to drive in snow.
