there are tons of them, floriday is renting a lot of the altimas and new galants. New york has a lot of altima rental cars also.

 

My wife drives an 03. Reason there are sooo many is it's one of the best deals in a 4-door sedan out there today. Nissan quality and reasonably priced.

How do you like the performance of the 2.5L I-4?

Seems like a hell of a deal. Can probably be had for 23k fully loaded.

It's really not bad. Well compared to my modded TL, it's not even close. But you can still get on it when you want to pass. Great car...

i can't say that i dont like nissan made cars. my old maxima was much more reliable than my cl-s proved to be (3 trannies and counting at 45k).

but i must agree, the altima is an ugly car. but whether or not there's more there are more altimas or 3.2TL's... i wouldn't say theres more altimas because i see 3.2TL's EVERYWHERE

I agree. We also have a 03 Altima 2.5 SL. And we love it. 10k of miles, no problems at all.

Ummm I don't actually OWN this car, its my parents. But I am saying it is the most rare color you can get and the best looking one in that car. Everyone knows this on Altimas.net! It's rare!

TL_Type_S, the only car that deserves to be lumped in with the Ford Taurus is the Pontiac Grand Prix. Referring to the Alti 2.5S as a Taurus in any form is a complete insult to Nissan.

Though I wouldnt go as far as to put 18"+ wheels on a 2.5L Alti (3.5L, maybe), I would mod the engine a bit with Spec-V parts for the heck of it, seeing as they pack the same motor. And that Sonoma Sunset rules with the Alti.

Arguably, the 3G Altima is now the nicest looking sedan in Nissan showrooms, IMO.
