scrib, even if the title was a little slanderous I just thought it was
funny! I'd take a g over my cls any day. but cant justify 20k too
upgrade, would also take a new accord and 9/10 of the g cost any day even if it was a 4cyl.auto with cloth and crnk up window.

The only difference between my Accord and yours is an engine. That's it. The suspension, brakes, etc... are all the same. An engine alone does not make a truly satisfying driving experience.

BTW, most stock 6-speed G35c's are in the 235-240hp range. Finally, the one thing the Accord lacks compared to the G is.... Remember your old screen name? Well, that's something your car definitely lacks
1. I just showed you a Vtec.net dyno done on a bone stock car running premium fuel. Now if the accord has 240hp, then using a 17% drive train loss you cannot explain the dyno numbers, however, if you assume crank hp is 255, WHICH IT IS, then you'd be a lot closer.

2. the nissan Z dynos 235whp stock. thats with a dyno jet dyno sae corrected. now if you want to argue about some idiots std dyno on a mustang contraption, then thats up to you.

3. the differences between your 4 banger toy, and a V6 6spd, goes WAY beyond just engine. try sport tuned suspension, wider tires, different transmission, etc.

4. Dr ricks was the first guy online to dyno his G35C 6mt. He used to drive a CLS in fact. want to know what he pulled stock after break in? 226whp. thats dyno jet dyno, sae corrected. again if you've seen some other nonesense to the contrary, then please by all means stay ignorant.

5. as for the torque jab, check out the dyno I posted. 195wtq pretty much from 2,000rpm all the way up to redline! not stellar numbers, but NOT FUKING bad for a car rated at 212 crank TQ!

Here's a BONE STOCK 350z dyno (6M):

Yup.. That's 243.3rwhp 244.9rwtq

The G35c can make numbers close to this too. BTW, check out the Torque

STD DYNOS are aways way high! my auto pulled 208whp with std, then I demanded to see the sae numbers, and they were 193whp.

I have no problem with the Accord "beating" the G. Stuff happens on a street race. Doesn't bother me on bit. This thread would have been fine, but the resident troll decided to open his big fat trap and began spewing the same crap that got him BANNED before.

1. Dyno's vary. They could have had a ringer. I am sure all stock Accords do not dyno this high

2. I just showed you a BONE STOCK Z dyno higher than 235whp. There are even a few in the 250whp range.. AND THIS IS AN SAE DYNO!!!

3. You drive a Auto Accord just like me. That's what I'm comparing it to

4. See point 1

5. 195wtq is still weak IMO, no matter the curve

just wait, I'm searching your Z forums now. last weak a boy dynoed 235whp stock, just like he should. he posted in the engine section, and people replied with pretty much the same numbers.

ok cus daddy, here is the thread:

entitled: just got my stock dyno

read the responses. No body claimed anything more than those numbers for stock.

now as for the accord, your right, we don't always get the vtec.net numbers on our site. the fact is most of the guys dyno even HIGHER with their stock 6spds. search for russianrsx. his 6spd dynoes 221whp and 200wtq CONSISTENTLY!

sir, please lets not get into an arguement about nissan HP numbers. I mean from maxima.org, to the sentra forums(SER spec V), there are several threads entitled: "lets sue nissan for our missing HP". If the Z is making the advertised numbers, 235whp approx, then ye-ha!

He was 1000 feet elevated. Again, as I said 1000x already, many things can cause dyno's to vary between cars.

In that same thread, there's a guy with a 250+whp dyno (granted, it's not a dynojet, but still)

The Z dyno's anywhere from 225-250whp stock. Depends on the car, conditions, gear, etc...
