Philosophical question here...

They say that CL-S and AV6's are grocery getters...because we go grocery shopping in them or whatever. But, if they go to the grocery store in their G35's, doesn't that make their cars grocery getters too Around here, G35's are pooping up all over the place...occassionally I do see them in the supermarket parking lot...hahahaha

How about this one:

Your 20" wheels probably didn't help you out either. They look nice but thats a lot of rotational mass to get going. BTW, hows that exhaust working out for you?

20's aren't going to make a damn difference. It was simply the VDC.

I was neck to neck with a 350Z and have 20's on my sedan - until I hit the nitrous and it was all over for him.

I so don't want to even get started in this thread, so I'll refrain...

Stuff happens... Accord won. Big freakin' deal. If you even think the Accord has 1/10 the class, style, chick appeal, power, fit n' finish...

I'll stop there.

no need to back off, we can have a friendly discussion scrib. Remember, I am not anti G, I even defend it on this board, but when it comes to the accord, I have to defend the accord, because I cross shopped both cars and choose the accord.

don't act like the accord win is a surprise! auto G35C vs 6spd accord= a loss for the G period! high 14's vs mid 14's. And how does the G35C out class the accord? with its pop-up 7th grader navi? the thing isn't even voice activated. and as for fit and finish, let me say that I'll gladly sit in the lavish interior of my 'ccord anyday than bang my head against hard plastic.

Man give me a break. Hey Scrib you like to throw this around , so will I

There's a TON of people over there that need to come down off their high horse. They really do believe they’re rolling in God’s chariot.

The G is a great car but so is the Accord coupe.

W O R D!

I mean the way cars are these days, if you buy a bimmer for instance, and don't have an M badge behind you, don't even try to race pimple face, on a date with his neon.

Don't know why people are sooo obsessed with 0-60 races or 1/4 races. If they had a canyon to carve, the G would would win regardless of auto or manual. That's why you pay the $8000 premium !!!

The G stops better, handles better, accelerates faster (auto v. auto; manual v. manual).

I also drive an 03 Accord in addition to my Z. I got the 4-cylinder because I wasn't going to try and pretend the car is a performance car. It's a great car, but it's purpose is quiet, comfortable and bargain cruising. Get a weekend racer if you are obsessed with racing

I autocross my Z... It's a lot of fun and a great experience. I find it much more fulfilling than the 1/4 mile track. Why? Because it requires a significant amount of skill.

The first time I went, I got beaten by a 4-cylinder Jetta. Not even the 1.8T. Why? Because skill matters a lot.

My Z is significantly more pleasing to drive than my Accord. The Accord is much more comfortable, but it's a car you forget all senses driving in. It's an appliance. The Z/G35c is a car to be driven.

I had a whole response written... And then I decided. It's not even worth getting into.

The Accord won.

Keep your calendar free in late Spring. We'll drive up to the BMW driving school at Gingerman. We'll see how your lavish car does there, mkay.

P.S. --> If you even think your car is in the same league as mine, you're on crack.

how come this quiet comfortable cruiser has 260HP stock? thats 217whp, and there for 9 less whp than a stick G. dude face it, you got the auto 4 banger, and I cannot begin to explain to your just how much more manlier of a car the V6 6spd is.

err......try no, because you are embarrased to show up with a sports car running slower than the previous generation.

The Accord does not have 260hp.. It had 240 like it's advertised. Maybe slightly more, but it's not 260 like you claim. I can pull out stock Z dyno's that show the car have 255hp stock... those aren't the norm, just like the dyno you are showing.

The only difference between my Accord and yours is an engine. That's it. The suspension, brakes, etc... are all the same. An engine alone does not make a truly satisfying driving experience.

BTW, most stock 6-speed G35c's are in the 235-240hp range. Finally, the one thing the Accord lacks compared to the G is.... Remember your old screen name? Well, that's something your car definitely lacks

It's an Infiniti not a Nissan. I guess you say all Lexus drivers drive Toyota's? Or all of the Acura drivers here drive Honda's?
