Acura TSX?

Hey all, I have an 02 CLS which I just have a blast in! An absolute gem of a car! Anyway, I am thinking about getting an 04 TSX but wanted an opinion from any of you! I am debating what color and if I should get NAV or not? I already have the NAV in the CL! Let me know any inputs?!

Thanks

Is this a replacement or a second car?

Actually, I'm not replacing the CLS! Just wanting to get a second car with a decent back seat! Haven't had any issues with the CLS or any Hondas! I had a loaner (TSX) for a while and everyone loved it!

I get the TSX as a loaner over at my dealship and everyone loves it. My girlfiend can't get enough. It's pretty slow but that's my only complaint. It's a great highway cruiser and the stock stereo sounds 10x better than the CLs. Plus the interior looks awsome. Go for it....it's a Car and Driver 10 best. Can't go wrong with that.

I get them as loaners as well. I thought the interiors of my CL-S were more comfortable and well made. The car in general felt less "heavy" than the CL-S. Not in weight, but for instance closing the door felt like I was closing a door from a Corolla. The trunk lid felt sooo thin, as if I threw it hard it would bend out of shape.
It is a step down from the CL-S in my opinion, but I think the TSX is an excellent deal for the money. I'd take it over a loaded Accord any day. It should make a great second car for those "need 4 doors" days

hmm

As a second car? sure. Why not..the backseat of the car is very small though. I was going to buy a car to replace my cls...I test drove the TSX and TL back to back. Loved the TL so much I had to get it. 6 speed and all. The TSX felt like a toycar to me in comparison. I would take a look at the 4cyl manual accord. Its performance is identical pretty much and you can get it loaded with Satellite and nav for like 4000 cheaper than the TSX. Its also far more roomy. If money is no option...get the TL!

I love the inside, the navigation BLOWS away the CL's navi...it's also well integrated. But...a downgrade powerswise

I forgot to mention that I liked the steering wheel controls. Functionality wise they're much better than those in the CL-S.
However, the cheap plastic they're made of was not cool.

I have the new TL and it's slower than my stock Type S (i think) .. therefore i STRONGLY suggest not downgrading to the TSX which is much slower by far

Thanks guys for all your input! I talked it over with my fiance and we both believed it would be better if we do get the TSX as a second car for myself! I already have the CLS which I will keep and she also MB E500. I test drove the new TL, great car but I just don't need a car like that just to drove around town and do a few errands! Anyway wish me luck on the lil purchase

Had the TSX has a loner for a day. A great little car but just not enough pep when coming from the CL. Love the gauges though.

Sounds like your gonna be keeping your CL as well so for a 2nd car it’s not a bad deal. Best of luck.

What about an IS300 from Lexus? If the TSX is ~$28K, then they're in the same neighborhood. Sure the IS300 is an old design about to be replaced, but it offers a sweet inline 6. Maybe the redesign is making the IS300 a harder sale for the dealer that might translate to more wiggle room in their price. Sure the TSX can have navi at that price, but the Lexus is a Lexus (e.g.: think resale, dealer care, etc). Just a thought!

Same here.
More power then I was expecting, but it's still a 4-popper.

I'd rather have a V6 accord than a TSX
