A friend of mine was showing me his co-workers new rims shown on this website:

I mentioned that his friend took the STI spoiler off of his car and he told me that the car is actually just a normal WRX.

When I said that it was lame to put the STI stickers on a normal WRX he told me that his co-worker said they were stock and that you get the STI foglight covers stock on the WRX if you buy it without foglights. Is that true? I've never seen a WRX without foglights but I'm surprised that Subaru would put STI stickers onto their WRX.

Can anyone confirm or is this guy talking out of his ass?

i don't know..but that is a WRX. it didn't have those lovely brake STI have.

All I know is that stock STis come with no fogs like the ones in the link. Those stickers are also very easily removeable. So he could have easily avoided being the poseur he is right now.

my friend has a wrx without fogs, it doesnt say sti it says WRX Impreza in the purple sti colors. He has the latest model. And i have seen older ones with fog covers that said the same thing.
