That's LVMS, 14.50 might not be the fastest, but given the altitude there and temperature, it's pretty reasonable to say that car would run about a second off its normal ET's there.

Something not right there. He looked like the wind was pushing him down the track.

122mph... that's a nice goal!

It's interesting to think about:

The NSX (290 crank hp) runs a 107-108mph in the 1/4-mile stock. The CL-S (290 crank hp with I/H/E) might run a 100-101mph in the 1/4-mile.

Now... a 400whp NSX will hit 122mph, but a 400whp CL-S won't hit 122mph. There is a weight difference of 300-400lbs, but its all in the gearing. The NSX 2nd gear pulls to 81mph (5spd), its nuts.

Does that mean the NSX is running a second off its normal ET too?

Hmm, the altitude shouldn't effect it as much since its running boost unless it was a blazing hot day. But I'm sure it could run quicker at sea level, that would be my guess. LVMS is over 2000ft above.

That NSX is sweet, but something went wrong with that SS. Those cars dyno close to a C5 Vette so things just don't add up.
