Has anyone noticed that Acura's are no longer in the newer Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episodes? The MDX has been replaced with the GX460 and there have been cameos of the new Lexus IS... Does anyone know why? Did Acura end their product placement in Marvel films? Because I believe that Acura suits the official car of S.H.I.E.L.D. way better than Lexus. It's because the producers don't want to ruin the show with cars.

 

Well if they didn't want the show to be ruined with cars, why Lexus? The new grilles are too overdone and they don't even look good... It could have been Audi... Even Cadillac if they wanted something different...

 

Come to think of it... I'd like to see the 2014 CTS and 2015 Escalade in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D...

As someone who works on the show...and has ridden in those Lexus...I can say they are nicer and cooler looking then the beat ass ZDX's.

Fact is...it boils down to promo deals...and Lexus probably ponied up what Acura wouldn't...so bye bye Acura.

One possibility is that Lexus replaced Acura on the TV show... But Acura will still be on the Movies... All I'm hoping to see in Thor: The Dark World is an MDX and TL... If not, it'd better be an Audi.

Agreed. The producers trying to cash in on the Avengers, but it won't work without any superheros. And have cheap ass CGI doesn't help as well

Now, I'm not a fan of Lexus by any means, in fact, I hate the new IS, it looks like its crying from the rear, and it was hit in the front, and thats y the headlights are in 2 weird parts.
