A_R_T Tuning CLS GTR

taken from AllCarNews.com

The developers from ART in Nuremberg, Germany succeeded in launching the GTR into the segment of top-class sports cars. Comprehensive, tightly focussed upgrades transformed the basis CLS55/63 AMG into a meaty sports tool with brilliant performance. At the same time its appearance displays an air of diplomatic elegance, without drifting into the harsh design lines of its class competitors.

A shift into a higher level for the 4-door CLS coupé from Mercedes-Benz concerning performance, exterior and interior. During the “Middle East Motor Show” Dubai in December
2005 the refined sports vehicle had its first introduction to the public. Next official introduction step will be the “Special Import Car Show” in Tokyo April 2006. Customers in Europe are able to order it from April 2006 onwards with the following technical details and equipment options:

I like it...but not that tan interior. Give it charcoal with silver suede inserts and I'm game.

I think the contrast interior would have been better and matched the interior

Nice. The wing could be different or removed to make it better though

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I am not sure exactly how I feel about this car. The interior needs to be a different colour that is for sure. Scrap the wing,.................and I am not sure about that body cladding they added. I guess it is not bad, but needs some changes. I would be happy with a stock CLS,.....car is beautiful.

for such a comment about a damn sexy car (the standard CLS). Next thing you're going to do is knock the DB9, aren't you?

Of course I would drive it if it were given to me, but given the choice of a stock CLS500 and that thing, I would take the CLS500. Slap a set of Brabus wheels on it and have one sexy, sleek, 4 door coupe.

First of all I hope you're referring to the CLS 55 AMG when you say "standard" otherwise there is no possible way you should even be mentioning it in the same sentence as the Aston Martin DB9.

The styling of the two cars is completely different and for you to think of his opinion as being wrong is silly. I'm sure there are people out there who like both as well as folks who like one or the other. I for one don't get all hot and bothered when I see a CLS. My friend owns one and yes of course it is a nice car but if you sit it next to a DB9 I'm going to pretend like the Benz doesn't exist.
