Interesting story - she's got a great security system and bought every lifetime warranty she could find..........

Love the fact that companies are making good on their warranties and the gun part was awesome too.

awsome!

I love the fact she has lifetime warranties on things that are 40 years old and business have to honor them. One smart lady.

I wonder if any of the vendors such as Midas has ever approached her for marketing reasons. Most never keep a car as long as her, or if they do, don't put on as many miles, but I wonder if any companies have ever considered using her and her car to promote their warranty guaranties.

It would be a good idea considering you have to fight with most places to honor your warranty. Im actually quite shocked she is still getting things replaced under her warranties. I have lifetime warranties on some things that I have just written off. Two that come to mind are brake pads for my explorer and a bracelet I bought for my fiance. The parts store refuses to give me any more pads under my "lifetime" warranty because of how many sets I have received from them. Hey its not my fault the truck has lots of miles and goes through pads like crazy. My fiance's bracelet keeps coming apart but even with the "lifetime" replacement warranty they would only replace it twice and they said thats it.

Considering her security system, Smith & Wesson may want to talk to her as well.

Sorry!

In regards to older cars, readily collectable or not, provenance is everything.

And kudos for this spritely young lady for keeping her wits about her, and toting the finest hardware to back up her warranty.
