So I'm driving in boston (nothing unusual), and I pull up next to this car

I don't think I've ever seen this model before. It was a white coupe, with a BMW decal on the back, and a 760Li decal on the rear passenger side. It also had NY plates and a small round NYPD sticker on its back trunk. Then I pull over to its side and see a V12 decal. I'm impressed, that is one smoking hot car. It had dark tint all around too. I look over at the driver, its a low-mid 20s white male. Then I notice the tires, he had wheels (not rims) and they had no hubcaps on. That sucks, maybe someone stole his rims. Oh ya, and other than the decals, the car looks exactly like a mid 90s tercel. Why do ppl do this? Does it make them feel better? Do they realize they're not fooling anyone and just looking like an ass? And if you're gonna do it why stop there, why not throw on a ferrari 360 badge?

okay, if i wasn't clear, it was a toyota tercel that had bmw badges all over it. I also posted this in ramblings as I didn't think it was 'car talk' worthy but it got moved here somehow.

 

So you thought a Tercel was a "smoking hot car" because it had a BMW badge and v12 sticker? Maybe he really is fooling someone.

okay another clarification. yes that was sarcasm. I knew it was a tercel immediately (my college roommate had one). I typed up the post the way i did for the added drama. In retrospect with all the confusion I probably shouldve just kept this to myself.

Rims=wheels. What are you talking about? I think you mean he had steel wheels, not aluminum wheels. Wheel and rim are interchangeable. But as was said, you suck at storytelling.

ya i know, i wasn't sure how to differentiate the two in language. I figured ppl don't refer to steel wheels as 'rims' so thats why i said it that way.
