Best part is that car was running 11's but then they put the AEM V2 intake in there and look what happens.

Amazing.

This thread just reminded me of a question I have...at what point does a stock car stop being a stock car. I mean can you really call this car a civic. Aside from all the engine mods, its rear wheel drive.

That's no stock civic motor I've ever seen either. I think that goes beyond a stock car...

i wouldnt exactly call it a "Civic"...more like a Honda engine in a tube frame chassis with a Civic looking body. Great time tho none the less.

It's an NSX motor... who knows what is done to it. The car is absolutely amazing to watch.

Is that an NSX motor? Looks like a V6. There is not one part of that car that is production civic or honda, but it's still cool I guess.

well if allmotor is right and it is an nsx engine, then that would be a production honda product...

As you can see, that doesn't tell you much other than a component listing. I doubt the car is a 3.0liter... it could be 3.2 even with a 'stock' NSX crank - albeit treated to withstand 1500+ hp.

Anyways, I talked to Stef on how to make power on Honda V6's about a few months back - he had some good pointers.
