you can now build your own at nissandriven.com...
the 6spd manual costs an additional $1590 over the automatic
and the track version is lacking pretty much any of the luxury amentities.
it seems like touring, 6spd is the best bang for buck since you get all the luxury, all the stuff from performance model, ya just dont get the RAYS wheels and the Brembo brakes... but ya save 2-3k anyway so ya can do all that aftermarket.
I built a Touring with 6spd, Navi, Side-Impact Airbags, Aero Package, Carpeted Floor Mats, Aluminum Kick Plates, & Carpeted Trunk Mat for $36,993.00.

I'll bet that Burnt Orange is a one year deal...looks great though.
The red does look good like you said it would. That does suck you can't get leather in the Track model. Everyone is going to have silver, so that would be out for me.
Have to see it in person, but it would either be Daytona Blue/Orange/Red.

Wonder if this model will ever make it to production.

Don't forget the insurance on this "sport car" ! It could be a deal stopper for some........just thought I'd throw that in......It is on my list for sure !

DAMN! Awesome car!
Really apples to oranges with a CL-S though.
RWD 2 seat SPORTS car vs. Touring GT CL-S
I may have to change my plan from a C5 to a 350Z Track model for the weekend racer after my CL-S is paid for.
Daytona Blue or Le Mans Sunset with the Burnt Orange leather
RAYS & BREMBOS!!!
It does need a Torsen diff though!

What I'm wondering is what Infiniti will do to distinguish the G35 coupe from the 350Z since they most likely will price it higher. Maybe more HP? Or maybe they'll make it the model we all want, a combination of the Track and Touring Z models. All they would need to add is a damn SMG style tranny. Hmmm, maybe they'll add twin turbos to the 3.5 instead of to a smaller V6 like is planned for the Z.

After the important question of "when can we have it?" comes "how much will it cost?" Under $30,000 is what was quoted to the group of salivating journalists, which would make the Evo VII around $5,000 or so more than a Subaru Impreza WRX but nearly $10,000 less than the Audi S4.

Here's the final confirmation from MotorTrend:
2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII
After teasing appearances at auto shows and months of speculation, the Lancer Evolution VII has finally been confirmed for sale in the United States beginning spring 2003. This extreme, motorsports-tuned Lancer variant features a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, lightweight body pieces, and ferocious powerplant in pureblood Japanese form. The American market can expect the rally-bred sedan to make the trip almost entirely intact, with the exception of the 276-horsepower output: while that figure was originally thought to be reduced to 250 due to emissions and intercooler packaging issues, sources now say it will have at least 260 horses. Price is promised to be under $30, which puts this ultra-sports sedan in elite performance company. Expect Subaru is to counter with its potent WRX STi.
