I have a feeling the cost of ownership of a R8 V10 is going to be way more than the Coupe R. The V10 is a supercar. The Coupe R is not quite there.

New vs. new or used vs. used makes more sense. I understand that's how the market is, but it is an unfair comparison. With the myriad of cars out there on the used market, of course used will win out. Not to mention the heavy depreciation on cars beyond a certain price point.
