2013 Accord deal

Hi

I went to look at the bew accord for my dad. He is not in a rush to buy but his 2004 Camry LE has 200k on the 4 banger and before it starts giving problems it might be worth getting something new.

So the deal we were offered was :
2013 accord EX w/ leather and navigation 4 cyl
2k off msrp plus 5k for his Camry.

Sounds decent to me. Kbb has private party value of aroud 5k so we can save ourselves the hassle.

What do you think?

Do it. Sounds like a great deal. If you wait a few more months the new Accords will probably go for invoice.

Good deal. And yes, you could do better unless there is a lot of demand for the '13 Accord in your area. It's selling quite well.

Take it the new accord's are sexy & sorry a camry with 200k as a used dealer isn't something I'd pay 5k for so definitely a good deal!

cant believe they're giving u guys that much for the camry. sounds like a good deal on the trade. as far as the price goes on the accord.

compare new accord prices on cars.com, autotrader and ebay and tell them to match it.

I can try to help if interested...But I will tell you, no way in heck a 9 year old base Camry with 200k miles is worth $5k. A STRETCH is $3k wholesale/trade-in. I predict a whole lot of games they are going to play with you. But then again, what do I know

Unless you can work some magic deal. But I'm sure for a 2013 Accord the dealer is not going to eat that cost.

Dealers tend to charge you extra for that, while it's already included in the price of the car when it gets shipped to them. Just another way for them to seem cheaper than everyone else. Next thing you know you have to pay over $800 more for the destination fee.
