I went to the show today. The crowd at GTR was just so long.
I had to wait almost 30 min. to see it in person.
It looks great. I did not have my camera with me so i had to use my cell phone.
I will upload some pictures when i return to US on sunday.
BTW, the new Mazda 6 looks really nice in person.
Also the EVO X gains dual clutch transmission (called SST).
The impreza STI is quiet underwhelming in person.
Saw the new M3 sedan in person, the car is gorgeous in person. Much better than the picture from the internet.
Lexus demo the LF-A, LF-XH (new RX). I also saw the Toyota new hybrid sports car. Somehow the LF-A and the Toyota sports car looks very similar.
BTW, the new RS6 looks great in person. V10 twin turbo with 580 HP on 20" wheel. The disc are massive in person (btw, they are ceramic).

I need to see that car in black or another color that is not silver.

Looking better with each photo. First I thought it looked like a "transformer" but it's growing on me. In person is prolly very impressive. Still would find it hard to drop 65 to 70 large on a Nissan.

The cutaway of the GTR rocks...
I've seen the BMW concept 1 (tii) pics from the show over on the 1-addicts.com forums...
I guess you'll only see the pics of a particular car on a forum that caters to that car's audience...
P.S. What's with that "MOAR" crap... I've seen that a couple of times now... was that started here (like "suite") or a more generic interweb thingie like "teh"...

It's nice to see new cars in different colors because some cars take on a different look in different colors. Some aspects of the car are more prodominate in lighter or darker shades...
I just hate silver cars, so maybe it's just me.

The investment vs. payoff for car companies on the models that have highly anticipated releases would be well worth it. Even if it is just an artist rendering it would show a great deal of commitment to the car enthusiast community
It turns me off that this seems to have become common practice.

I think everyone will agree the biggest car to premiere at the Tokyo Show is the GT-R, bar none. I read the Globe & Mail (Canadian national paper) and the reporter who attended said the press was going apesh*t over it, so I could imagine how the general population will respond to it. (In fact, I can't wait to go to the Detroit Show in January to oogle over it ... and it better show up here!)
Hell ... I stayed up at 1AM on a Thursday night to watch Ghosn present it live on webcast and spew out the #s...
PS Going back on-topic ... thanks for sharing the pics!

I still don't like the new fascia, I think the R34 had a better looking front fascia. Either way though, this is one excellent piece of engineering, its going to be roughly 10~15K more expensive than an R34, so I'm sure there will be a big buyers market in Japan, don't know how well it will fair in the U.S. I think compared to other 70K cars, this is a great buy.
Its competition as far as price:
RS4
IS-F
M3
Cayman
And a few others, but quite obviously the GT-R seems to be better, althought Audi and BMW fans will stick with their Audi or BMW.

You folks might wanna check out: Skylineking.com when you have a chance. Spoke with the shop owner before & he's a great guy (his name's Jay)....he has 2 R34s all legit & ready whoever wants 'em at $65K each. Also, might wanna check out the conversions that they've made, friggin' radical!!! I want the 240sx with either the 2J Supra engine conversion or the RB26DETT Skyline conversion....all with working a/c & everything...jeeez!
