I nor my wife have never averaged more than 18.4mpg on our Murano. But with everything else you posted about it and the Mo definitely has a sports sedan nature.

I'm considering both the next gen G35x sedan or unknown CX25/35 if/when that comes out as a vehicle to complement the TSX. I love the next gen G35 coupe too, but it's impractical in the wintertime. I need to payoff the TSX first and move out of an apt and into something that I own first though.

98K on my '01 Pathfinder w/the 3.5 VQ with no problems. I switched it over to regular (87 octane) well over a year ago with no problems. I do run M1 in it. I've never heard any issues with the VQ, besides their propensity to enjoy gas a bit too much. Even on that front I can't complain, we get 17-18 on every tank- which is comparable for other SUVs from that year.

A year ago, the TL was such a clear and obvious choice. Given what we know about the 2007 models thus far, it is no longer clear at all (at least in my opinion).

I will be test driving both, but at the moment the G35 owns the TL on paper.

I am, and also going to take a hard look at the new 335i coupe.

my 01 QX4 only gets 13-14mpg...., hence why i'm selling it for a legacy GT Limited....mmm turbo. considered the TL and the G35X, but infiniti treated me like shit so i will never go back to them, plus i like the value of the legacy more. plus with the extra money i'm saving, i'm turning it into a G35/tl/.....killer.

The more photos of the 2007 Infiniti G35 that I see, the more I want the car! ( http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113100 ) The 2007 Acura TL Type-S has nothing on the 2007 Infiniti G35 as far as I'm concerned. Fully loaded 2007 Infiniti G35x AWD here I come!
