Goddamn it.....why did HOnda have to make a barely any low end torque FWD car so sexy.........

The Si could very well keep me in the Honda family.

Thats pretty low for only being on Pro-Kits, it would look real aggressive on Sportlines..

Waiting for the dealer too call me back. If the price range is half decent I might hawk the R1 and have a new lil toy. Thats if the wife does not kill me first.

I called the dealer today if I put the order in now I can take delivery like mid january and it will be ordered too my likes. The only thing I have and issue is there is no word on a price yet. They said around 24k loaded with navi and all the toys.

What toys? Isn't the only option available the navigation?

I drove a 5spd coupe last Saturday and loved it. The interior is just so un-civic like compared to our 2004.

I'm thinking really hard on an SI once they come out and the dealer will actually deal on one. Even got the wife to agree on getting one if I let her keep have the TSX.

Looks like a great car but I'm worried about spending ~$24k on a Honda Civic.

I agree. Honda really pulled a 180 on that car. I never loved the redesign in 2001.

The interior is simply amazing.

Is it still that amazing at $24k? When I was pricing out TSX's I had them with the 6MT and the Navi at $25-26K

$24K will be for a loaded Si.

A loaded TSX is stickers at about $30k, you do the math

I can't stop thinking about driving the coupe. I want to drive it again..I want to own one...an Si that is

Somehow Honda has made me want to stay with them, even though I was more then ready to go with RWD and lots of low end when it was time to get my next car....damn them.

The TSX doesn't have any options other than the transmission and navigation. So "loaded" I was looking at $25,600 (I think that was my lowest quote, could have been $25,400). I suppose after a year or so the Si will come down off the sticker price but if I can't get one for $19-20K I'd pass. The '05 RSX-S was in that $20K range.

Where are you getting these quotes from.

A loaded TSX with navs stickers at 30k. any dealer offering it for 25k is way underinvoice...and I just dont see them making that deal. Not with rsx-s either.

So, I dont see how you are going to get a civic si for way under invoice either. Especially when this car is a surefire hit.

Last spring when I was shopping around I was getting quotes for $25,600-$25,900 from 4 different dealerships in the area. Very competitive pricing around here with so many Acura dealerships.

Dear Steve,

Thank you for your interest in the 2005 TSX that you requested via the Internet. The vehicle is on our lot and available immediately. I am willing to beat your lowest price quote by $200 and include FREE oil changes for life.

When would you like to come and look at the car? I would be happy to meet with you at your convenience to answer any questions, as well as provide the keys for a test drive. If appropriate, I would like to confirm the specifications of this vehicle and make sure it is exactly what you want. We may also review other items necessary for an efficient buying experience, including any trade-in, financing and insurance.

In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached either by replying to this e-mail or by phone at 703-362-2600

Thanks for your interest. I look forward to speaking with you soon!
