R32s sound amazing. However, performance wise it probably makes sense to buy a GTI instead (significantly cheaper) and chip it.

Don't the make a crazy twin turbo kit for the R32? I remember seeing it in a mag. It went 0-60 in like 3.2 seconds.

Edit: Found it

I had to be talked out of leasing a new 08 R32.

Im actually glad I didnt, but it was a sweet car. The exhaust note just hypnotizes you.

I personally like the previous gen styling better, but either one would be a sweet ride I'm sure. I love the interior on them. Very clean. I say go for it.

I was curious about the reliability of the car. I always liked it since it came out and just always wondered what others thought.

I am a sucker for a VR6 and love the fit and finish of the interior. If you can get by with it not being as fast as the STI and Evos of the world then I say go for it.

Theyre nice. VR6 is stout, interior is nice, etc

But spending 20k for a 2004 seems a bit on the "meh" side.

I still want one. But $20+k for a hatch is a little hard to take. I still love it though, but I'm a biased VW lover. Just make sure you get a warranty.
