Hmm. Technically, I borrowed my parents' cars until 25, so my TSX is my first car that I bought myself. But the car I learned on was a '94 Chrysler Concorde. The car my parents let me drive alone when I got my license was their '88 Bonneville. I started driving a couple months before I turned 17.

'56 ford F-100 15, worked on it all of the summer prior to turning 16.
It had a big block V8, drum brakes, no power steering, and no seatbelts yet somehow i'm still alive.
And still working on it in the summers.
