1997 lexus sc300
how about this?
A used 1997 Lexus SC300, White/Tan, 60,980 miles, 5MT. The mechanic said they replaced the bumper but I did ask if the airbags went off, he said no. The price?...
$10,995. My family has never gotten a used car (that is the reason why the 04 TSX is mine in 06, unless we get something now). I am hoping to bring it down to somewhere around 9-10k. Anyone think something is wrong with it? 61k miles and only $11k for a '97 SC300 is pretty fishy if you ask me, but if there's nothing wrong with it, why not, great price. Here's the link...lexus sc300 .
By the way, I have driven stick very little but do know the fundamentals. Of course I would learn how to fully drive manual before getting the car, but does anyone know if it's an easy driver? Judging by the Lexus emblem, I'm sure the engineers would make it smooth and easy to drive.

Do yourself a favor and run the carfax. If the car doesn't check out, don't buy it.
The SC300 makes a good car to tune since it shares an engine block with the Supra. Add some aftermarket Supra bits to the engine compartment and you'll have a certified monster.

Those are pretty rare - actually any Lexus other than the IS is rare to find with an MT. Even if the carfax checks out, have someone look at the clutch - if it was not driven properly you might be in for an expensive replacement. The engine is probably pretty bullet proof and the rest should also be OK.
BTW, fix your sig - the 2006 GS will be 300 not 330.

I ran a carfax and it doesn't look good.

This is one of the worst carfax reports I have ever seen. You couldn't pay me to take this car...
