I drove one and liked it better than the new Accords. Anybody have any opinions on the Mazda 6?

 

I drove it at a Mazda RevItUp autox event... The 4cyl was lethargic and the V6 felt slow for a 6cyl. Of course I was spoiled by the CL-S when I drove the 6s.
For a little more, I'd take a TSX and get nicer interiors.
Which, by the way, I did... so I may be biased

 

Another fine family sedan. Great car.

looks cool... yes... but not sure it can hang in the speed dept...

i love the styling of that car. i actually was looking at them before i decided on a CL-S, but i couldn't find any used ones for a decent price. i read somehwere a while ago that mazda was thinking about making a mazdaspeed version with a twin-turbocharged 4 cyl. anybody else hear of this?

^I'll assume this is what you're talking about Sand, and yes. The hatchback is fuckin' awesome. If that MPS Mazda came out, I'd be all over that shit.

-I also heard and saw a forum thread on a MazdaSpeed 6, which had the 3.0L engine with a supercharger. The styling is considerably more conservative than the MPS6 though. And I believe both are supposed to have AWD too?

 

^^^^ holy shit i only heard about it, i didn't know there were pictures!!!!! god damn thats a sweet lookin car!!!!! i would jump on one of those in a heartbeat. i think you are right about the AWD thing, i remember hearing something about it as well.

my friend has a 6. i think its a pretty sweet ride. he's got some 19's on it, with the factory bodykit, rims painted to match the car (dark charcoal grey). i like it, cool car.

 

exterior very nice.....interior, i dont like at all. mazda 3 has a better interior.
