So my fathers friend is over and asked me to look up on the interent why the windshield washer fluid wont come out...I topped up the washer fluid and got into the car, the indicator still says that there is low washer fluid.
I push the button, I can hear the noise that you would normally hear if there was fluid coming out...Nothing sprays out....like I said there is lots of fluid in the "tank" and it should work normally....any ideas?

Summary: Filled fluid to the top
Pushed button, nothing comes out
Dash still says "Low washer fluid"
Sounds like the pump is working yet nothing come out


And this if for a 1996 Lincoln Continental.....Is there anything I could check? and yes, I did pour it into the right place....
