With respect to my 07 AV6 5AT sedan, . For the $26k I paid for it (w/Navi), it was a hard deal to pass up....which is why I did not, despite the fact that we are a Nissan household.

EDIT: Though I purchased it for me, the wife drives it far more than I do despite her initial disappointment with my purchase of it over the G35X, 335i, TL and IS350 I was actively xshopping.

apparently the only people who agree with me, i'm on the wrong forum. yeah they also said that the auto's 0-60 is high 6 or 7 something... which sounds about right, I don't know about the manual accord. But of course you don't buy an accord for speed anyway so whatever.

in my defense, the link has the dyno #'s of the MT v. At 08 accord...it shows about a 28hp and 34tq difference in the two.

VCM is only on the sedans. Drive a V6 AT coupe, its quite fast.

sorry dude but you're wrong, VCM is on all the AUTO V6's, but not on the MANUAL TRANNY (PS. it's the J35Z2 which has VCM, and the J35Z3 which doesn't -> manual. it's speculated that the Z3 is just a lower compression J35A3, though)

http://automobiles.honda.com/accord-...up=engineering

The only car that has the J35Z3 is the Accord Coupe V6 6MT, since there is no Sedan 6MT this year. It is proven that the Z3 has a better torque curve throughout, and puts down way more power to the wheels.

I drove an Accord V6 2008 and it just felt... dead. Right after I drove a Passat and this car was much more livelier.

I owned 2 Accord.

Oh, so you were driving the AT. I really didn't like the AT because I also felt that it was lacking. Good thing I got mine with the 6MT.
