On my way to work I had some fun with an S2000 and a 04 TL. The S2000 flew past me so I gunned and we began to go down the highway at 110. Then we came across a 04TL who joined . At this point there is 3 of us doing about 100-110 down the highway( me having to catch up all the time ). My question is between the S2000 and 04 TL who would win? Will the TL eventually pull it in since it has more horsepower or will the weight differential always have the S2000 the winner?

 

S2000. The TL, while quick, isn't quite S2000 quick and the S2k's top end is very strong. Plus, the nearly 600 lb weight difference probably gives the s2k a slight edge...

 

S2000, but not by much. I bet the 04' TL can keep up pretty close.

 

s2000 would win by a lot if auto TL, and by little less if equal drivers 6 speed TL

 

once the S hit its vtec point, goodbye

 

what about a tls/cls with headers?

S2000 for sure. Its motor is underrated, especially the F22 motor.
