A WHOLE lot faster I'd say.

IMO, it's more a tribute to how well the TL performs rather than any "lack of quickness" on the NSX's part. Seems like the TL is only a mod or two away from being a consistent 13-second car. Impressive.

If you're talking 13.0, then the TL is A LOT away from getting to that point.
supercharger w/ extra boost
headers
tires (a must)
and it would probably still come up short...

Awesome video... The new TL really held it's own. It got owned at the end, but didn't do nearly as badly as my CL did against the NSX at Acura Wars a while ago

noooooo even then that NSX supposedly ran 13.0 and 13.4 either runn is light years ahead of what an NA TL stock could run.

the nsx is DOHC and has bigger cams so thereis the advatage over the tl-6 which is single cam. also the rpm range goes an to 82k not 62k. the tl had 30 more ponies in it i know this for a fact just need to reprogram the car and free up the exhaust she will make 300 ponies

? it got beat by 8-9 cars lenghts easy. Every car length is equal to .1 of a second. 13.5 NSX vs 14.5 04TL. Seems about right
Wasn't a close race at all.

If you aren't happy with the performance out of the box with the NSX i'm sure Comptech would love to take it off your hands for a few weeks and transform it into an Italian Exotic Killer.

When I had my NSX (270hp) with I/E (about 290hp, let's say).... it was still as quick or quicker than my CL-S was with all NA mods (at least 320+hp). Yes, the NSX was a tad lighter, but was a beast on the highway. I think the gearing if the NSX (5spd and 6spd) is truly optimized for that engine's output curve. 2nd gear used to go to 80mph (5spd)... it used to keep up with the new M5's - even with a nearly 100hp handicap!!
