'04 G35 Coupe 5AT hits 400whp!
It is equipped with a Vortec 9lb pulley, 550 injectors, retune and the rev limiter bumped to 7000rpm.
And I have no idea what the "Gay" references are in the image??? Perhaps the customer name?

Dude that's awesome!! Is that all it took to get to 400whp?? Does it have any other mods other than what you listed? Also how much money does that supercharger and the work done cost? ALl the questions because I was debating to get a G35C and supercharge it.

Odd that nobody said the "gay" reference was due to the drivetrain. You all must be slipping. Even if I don’t agree with that.
The shop that did my S/C install was supposed to S/C a G35c with the Vortech blower but it never happened. That sucker looks like its a beast.

Alot of vortech supercharged g35's reach that amount very easily. I plan to turbo or supercharge my g when i get the funds. And no, the tranny doesnt need to be upgraded. The auto trannies on g35's are built really well and there is no need for a upgraded tranny. SInce the the rpms were raised to 7000, he most definetely got the technosquare ecu to do proper tuning.

Nice #'s, but that AFR going high and the curve looking wierd is somewhat odd. From 6.5K onwards you see power dropping. That's usually for two reasons:
(i) S/C or Turbo can't flow enough air
(ii) Cams arn't quite making power up that high.
It is nearly impossible to have a 40whp bump at 6800 RPM especially considering the cams are stock and the VQ does not hae variable valve lift. Are you sure the engine
did not blow up at 6.9K? That would explain the power and the AFR. Running a 16.0:1 AFR at 7K under boost is destructive

All the VQ humpers will probably say it's no big deal...

hope he got some upgraded connecting rods. I know 3 people with boosted z's that have connecting rods go when they reached over 350 to the wheels.
