It was a driver's race from a roll, cause the trap speed of the GTO is around what most Cobra traps stock, actually I've seen stock Cobra's trap around 112 - 114MPH.

 

i have seen quite a few bolt on f bodies with cam only run the shit outta cobras. As far as mods go, the cobra is faster than the current GTO, but when the ls2 drops, the gto will be a monster with mods also. Another thing, slap a supercharger on an LS1 and you will have a 600 whp car easily.
