squeeky brakes

 

ok.... what's the point of this video? to show, within the timeframe of 10 seconds at a racetrack, that the '00 GT3 (which we can only assume the camera car is, seeing how the black car is the '03 GT3) is faster than an '03 GT3?? umm yeah.. that's a big negative. Not sure where (or if) the yellow 911 fits into the picture...

 

i never knew wheels squeeled so much under race conditions.... or the brakes sounded so wreched....

 

race brake pads are very harsh and its supposed to make all that sound. that's why the aftermarket pads that we get and squeals, stop us faster than say, non squealing factory pads.. yes the squeals are annoying, but it was meant for quicker brakes not comfort.

also the 350Z and the G35 Coupes have this problem too. within the first few hundred miles, there are alot of brake noises because theyre so harsh. but i love the feeling of how fast the thing comes to a stop

 

Yeah a lot of people think that if they hear brakes squeal, there's a problem. The fact is, race brakes make a lot of noise... race brakes make a characteristic sound that are different from the sound you hear when your brake pads and/or rotors are going bad.
