Which ever has lower miles on it.

Same mileage then get the Acura with navi

But i should say since you 16, get the accord.

cl-s is far and away a better car than an 00 av6 coupe.

I would avoid either. 2000-2003 was the "dark ages" of 5 speed automatic transmissions for Honda. However, if you're bent on those cars, I'd get the CL-S. It's much more luxurious and the handling/driving experience is FAR better.

If you must have the Accord, get the 99 coupe V6 with the 4 speed automatic. It's a much better transmission.

I'm guessing the V6 power is a must for you, but if it's not, you can get a 2002 (or better yet, 2003) Accord coupe EX-L (4 cyl) with the 5 speed manual for about the same price with lower mileage.

I dunno, the resale sucks on both of them so picking them up used is great. I wouldnt mind a CLS with navi for the price they going for.

Even with the tranny issues, i mean you get a 100k warranty on them.

Although an F23A4 motor, the 4AT in my 99 went bad at 38k.

Cheng, if you want performance and/or something a bit more upscale then go with the CL-S. If neither are that big a deal then a 6G AV6C should work just fine (in general). BTW: If you want Navi then the Pioneer AVIC-D2 is a direct fit into the 2DIN opening of the 6G Accord.

Then that rules out the 01 CL-S.

On my 2nd tranny in my 2000. And the F23A automatics are included in the recall for 00-01. If miles, condition, and price are the same then get the CL-S since it's way faster. Of course the Accord looks better.

Yep, I totally agree... the CLS is a great value... I really wish I hadn't bought mine new, but hey, hindsight is 20/20...

With a 100K warranty on the tranny, it gives you some peice of mind... You just have to realize that you're going to want to sell it before it hit's 100K... so something w/ decent mileage is a great bang for the buck...

Even the prices on CLS 6spd are coming down to the mid teens for high mileage examples...

Imagine the re-sales if that gen CL/TL had better trannies? I'd have probably got a TL-S years ago.
